The leading International trade fair of Hungary will be organised for the sixth time in Budapest at the Hungexpo trade fair centre between 10-12 May 2012. The RENEXPO^® Central Europe covers the whole sector for renewable energy and energy efficiency and creates a meeting point for professionals and experts from Europe.

As the leading energetic event in the region the RENEXPO^® is the key energy platform for the central and eastern European region.

At the congresses taking place along with the trade fair and supported by the professional associations, technology innovators and business leaders will discuss the actual topics from the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate change.

Renewable energy market in Hungary

  Target for share of energy from renewable energy till 2020 14,65 % of the final consumption of energy– consumption in 2009 was 5,4 %
• According to the new action plan more subsidies will be provided for renewable energies in the amount of EUR 88-110 million
• Start of the “Energy Efficiency Programme” for energy efficient reconstruction of yearly 100.000 municipality buildings and apartments for EUR 364million
• Regrouping of EU-subsidies for energy efficient investments
• Simplifying of the approval and permit procedure
• Target for 2012: Increasing the energy independence of Hungary by realizing RES projects

RENEXPO^® Central Europe is growing
