I am curious architect with a passion for sustainable and bio-climatic architecture. Since my university days, I am constantly searching to deepen my knowledge and skills learning how the design process can be more respectful to nature, taking into consideration local cultures, local construction techniques, climate data and other environmental factors, in order to create better spaces reducing the use of non-renewable energy resources. I concentrated my master’s degree on sustainable design aspects and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) working on refurbishment and reuse of abandoned industrial structures, and how they can be re-integrated into the urban pattern. I brought my passion for bio-climatic design into my work as a tutor in the Milan’s and Piacenza’s Politecnico University, working with students from 4th and 5th year. Having more than 7 years of experience as an architect, I had the fortune to design particular airport spaces, refurbishment of private apartments, offices and to have participated in national and international architecture competitions. I also participated in a few exhibitions in which I had the opportunity to talk about my work and express my personal point of view regarding sustainable architecture. I am currently working as a Project Manager in an Italian architecture studio located in the centre of Milan, combining activities of site Construction Management and project management.
