o25 is a Greek and German (Dϋsseldorf) based group of architects operating within the fields of architecture, design and development. The office was set in Thessaloniki (Greece) in 2003 by architects Antonis Perpatidis, Thanasis Chrysomallis and Manolis Vourakis. In close collaboration the 3 principal architect directors produce designs and studies in the fields of architecture, urbanism and landscape design. The office is currently involved in large scale projects in Greece and Germany (Dϋsseldorf). o25’s architecture emerges out of careful analysis of how contemporary life constantly evolves and changes. The practice operates in a project-oriented network structure, which allows for brainstorming and discussion in a team environment. This process allows an idea to be born and maintained through the refinement of each work stage. o25 believes that all projects regardless of their size and type have to follow an innovative design approach aiming at the originality and freshness of the initial idea. The variety of projects that the practice undertakes varies in size and type but is always accomplished in the best possible timeframe with respect to the aesthetics of each work. A team of twenty architects, designers and staff members of o25 are organized into teams headed by project leaders. Based on the scope of the work in different phases designers and specialists will be added to the team. The senior architect is responsible for the day-to-day communication and organization. The design team will be assisted by advisors in fields of building and installation technology, building sciences, building management and building cost. In this way o25's generalism and verve is linked with the specialization and thoroughness of other team members. The practice has to date been awarded with distinctions and honorable mentions in competitions that dealt with industrial design, street furniture, public space design and/or small-scale ephemeral structures.
