Fabio Varese

was born in Genoa in 1975, after his artistic studies, he attended building engineering in Ancona and then moved to the architecture university in Ascoli Piceno where he graduated in 2003 with Prof. Pippo Ciorra and the thesis “Abitare l’Emergenza” , which explores dry construction systems and possible technologies to deal with emergencies in the event of natural disasters, from the very beginning experiments with and investigates the various craft techniques: wood, ceramics and metals, gaining a significant propensity for nomadic culture and ‘Variable Trim Architecture: Learns knowledge from the arts and trades of tradition and then transforms it into its future professional philosophy of using “sincere” materials and the careful relationship between architectural composition and place.
