Gruppo C14 is an unconventional architecture studio with international and multi-awarded expertise in lighting projects, furniture and interior design. In love with light and obsessed with the possibilities offered by its application to architecture, at the beginning of the 2000’s Alexander Bellman designed the lighting engineering calculation for Milan Cathedral and Piazza della Scala, both of which received international recognition. Architect and University professor Alexander Bellman is fond of chess, maths and physics of light. These passions shape the strategic approach and the volumes of the projects of the studio. Specialised in lighting design but far from being limited to the confines of a “conventional” definition, Gruppo C14 blends the creative and technical skills of designers, architects and graphic & multimedia designers. The studio deals with interior, lighting, retail and exhibition projects, working with worldwide clients: it designs the light for the new Kiton showroom in Gondrand Building in Milan, it realizes the new retail concept for Peuterey, it deals with the main representative spaces of the Unicredit building in Milan Porta Nuova area, it develops the lighting concept for Gae Aulenti Square and for Unicredit Pavillion, it collaborates with famous artists looking after several exhibition at Palazzo Reale, Triennale in Milan and on Isola Madre, it realizes projects for Loropiana, Tod’s, Pomellato, Luxottica, Canali, Hines, Vacheron Constantin, Mondadori, Samsung, Nielsen, Viabizzuno and Flos. The studio has also completed the lighting, interiors and custom-designed furniture for Tops International Arena in the Netherlands and For D Home Showroom in Hangzhou. It also realizes the interior design for some villas and a mall in Africa.
