The passion for stone pushes Luca Lacetera to grapple with this element that in his hands is molded to give life to unique objects, all exquisitely and elegantly designed, surprisingly light and harmonious. In its achievements, Luca blends tradition and experimentation, paying tribute to the stone and addressing the issue of the permanence of classical forms in modernity. In a continuous challenge with himself, Luca reaches thicknesses difficult to achieve with a material so hard that it seems to become unexpectedly flexible. Each artefact is chiselled out of one single block of hard limestone following traditional methods and using traditional instruments.
